MOSCOW. March 30 (Interfax-AVN) - A recent visit of CIA Director John Brennan to Moscow could be a political move of Washington seeking to reinstate the working dialogue between Russia and the United States, former Foreign Intelligence Service head, Gen. of the Army Vyacheslav Trubnikov told Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
"As CIA Director John Brennan has visited Moscow, I believe that someone, primarily the Obama Administration, was thinking about ways to restore the dialogue, I'd rather not say mutual understanding, the dialogue which would not be accidental or held at the summit level, but the working dialogue, i.e. to find a channel for expressing one's point of view, for leaning the opinion of the other party, for reporting to the political administration and for responding by means of the same channel," Trubnikov said.
