DONETSK. March 30 (Interfax) - The defense ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, DPR, has said that the Ukrainian military resumed mortar shelling of the Donetsk airport area.
"The Ukrainian military fired mortars against the airport area. The attack was carried out from Avdiivka," a DPR defense representative told reporters.
The shelling occurred about an hour ago, he said.
