Kremlin has no trust in Donbas conflict fatality data from Ukrainian authorities

MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has doubts about the reliability of the Donbas conflict fatality data presented by Kyiv.

"I do not think we have grounds to believe Kyiv's analytical data. Of course, our security services have statistical data about possible [casualties]," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday. He was asked whether Moscow believed the Donbas conflict had taken 10,000 lives, which had been alleged by Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko made a statement to that effect in the United States on Wednesday.

Peskov did not disclose fatality data possessed by Russia.
