MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - The decision to establish the National Guard in Russia is not related to the upcoming election period, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
While Peskov was taking questions from journalists on Tuesday, he was asked whether the presidential decree on establishing the National Guard has anything to do with the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.
"I have in fact answered this question already by using the word 'no'," Peskov said.
