BAKU. April 6 (Interfax) - Washington emphasizes its adherence to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorny Karabakh conflict, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told reporters on Wednesday.
The ambassador said the U.S. has condemned the facts of violence and the presence of casualties on both sides during the recent escalation of the conflict.
He added that the U.S. has always supported peaceful settlement of the conflict in the OSCE Minsk Group and again called on the parties to exercise reserve.
