MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - The Russian President's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has met with the leader of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party, Salih Muslim, who is currently on a working trip in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The pair discussed in detail a set of issues relating to a political resolution in Syria, based on the UN SC [United Nations Security Council] Resolution 2254, and aimed at protecting the statutory rights and interests of all ethnic and religious groups of the Syrian population within a single, sovereign, secular and territorially integral state," the ministry said on its website on Thursday.
