MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - Russia has to take appropriate military-technical measures in response to the approach of the NATO infrastructure closer to the Russian borders, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the Fifth Moscow Conference on International Security on Wednesday.
"The U.S. and NATO have begun deploying military infrastructure near the Russian borders, they are implementing dangerous missile defense plans and increasing military expenditures," Shoigu said.
"Such actions make us take appropriate military and military-technical measures in response. I want to say with all responsibility: we are against an arms race," the Russian minister said.
