Warsaw must apologize for vandal attacks on Soviet war memorials - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - Yet another act of vandalism, the sixth since the beginning of 2016, took place in Poland in the early hours of April 25, this time at a memorial cemetery of the Soviet Army officers in Wroclaw, Moscow demands an apology and that those responsible be brought to account.

"We demand that Warsaw take exhaustive measures to find and punish the criminals and immediately restore the monument in its initial appearance, as well as formally apologize," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a commentary posted on its website on Wednesday.
