MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - The Kremlin does not have information about the allegedly preparing meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Vienna next week but it welcomes any steps towards reanimating the dialogue between Yerevan and Baku on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
"I cannot say anything specific about this information [a meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Vienna] for now. Indeed, Moscow would welcome any steps aimed to de-escalate tensions in the [Karabakh] conflict zone and to resume the dialogue for the purposes of searching for political settlement options," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.
