MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Israel supports the anti-terrorist operation of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria, Israel's Ambassador to Russia Zvi Heifetz said, when asked how Israel views Russia's anti-terrorist operation in Syria.
"We fully support Russia in the fight against international terrorism and ISIL [a terror group banned in Russia]. I think not only we but the entire normal world supports Russia," he said on the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television channel.
"Russia decided to do something and it is doing," the ambassador said.
