Part of U.S. anti-Russian sanctions to be lifted if Minsk accords implemented - Tefft

MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - U.S. Ambassador in Moscow John Tefft said Washington hoped the Minsk agreements for Ukraine would be implemented, which would make it possible to lift some of the U.S. sanctions imposed on Russia.

Tefft told reporters the U.S. hoped that negotiations on the Minsk agreements would be successful, and that these accords would be implemented. And, as U.S. President Barack Obama said, some of the sanctions would be lifted from Russia in this case, he said.
