Agreement to create wide-body plane, heavy civilian helicopter to be signed during Putin's visit to Beijing

MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - An intergovernmental agreement to produce a wide-body aircraft and a heavy civilian helicopter is expected to be signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Beijing on June 25, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.

"The issues of cooperation in aircraft-building and space industries will be discussed. An intergovernmental agreement, which will launch a program of joint development and creation of a wide-body long-haul aircraft and a heavy civilian helicopter, will be apparently signed," he said.
