YEREVAN. July 1 (Interfax) - The United States Senate Committee on Appropriations has proposed giving $24.1 million in annual financial aid to Armenia in the next financial year, according to the Armenian National Committee of America.
The sum will help Armenia organize efficient help for refugees from Iraq and Syria, Aram Hamparian, head of the committee, said.
In addition, $600,000 will be provided to Armenia under a military training and re-training program, the Committee said.
