LUHANSK. July 12 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army shelled the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) over a dozen times in the past 24 hours, the LPR militia told Interfax.
"Sixteen attacks of the Ukrainian army on LPR positions were observed in the period from July 11 till July 12," a militia representative said.
The Ukrainian army attacked the populated localities of Kalynivka, Hurty, Lozove and Stanitsa Luhanska on July 11, the militia said, adding that 82mm mortars, automatic and mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, weapons of infantry combat vehicles and small arms were used.
"There are no casualties," the militia said.
