KYIV. July 15 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian positions in Donbas have been shelled 26 times over the past 24 hours, according to the military operation's press center.
In the Donetsk area, 122-millimeter artillery shells thrice hit the Ukrainian military in Nevelske, the press center said on its Facebook page on Friday. Enemy fired 82 millimeter mortars against Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Verkhniotoretske and the Butivka mine. Grenades were employed near Opitne, fighting infantry vehicles near Maiorske, and small arms near Luhanske and Troitske.
In the Mariupol area, Ukrainian army strongholds in Krasnohorivka were shelled with 120 millimeter mortars, according to the press center. Not far from Starohnativka, the enemy targeted Ukrainian positions with large-caliber machineguns, and fired small arms near Shyrokyne.
In the Luhansk area, mortars were fired randomly near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka. Small arms were fired at Stanytsa Luhanska.
