Tbilisi unhappy about Russian army training in Caucasus

TBILISI. Aug 24 (Interfax) - Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze said he believes that large-scale military training exercises conducted by the Russian army in the Caucasus "do not promote peace and security in the region."

"We regularly provide information to our partners and international organizations and we speak about the dangers associated with such actions. We continue observing such activities by the Russian side in the region," Janelidze told reporters on Wednesday.
