Russian deputy foreign minister, Syrian ambassador compare notes on issues of Syrian crisis settling

MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad discussed combating the terrorism in Syria and the outlines of the newly territorially intact state.

"During the conversation the sides compared notes on the issues of settling the Syrian crisis on the grounds of the Geneva Communique of July 30, 2012, the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the decisions of the International Syria Support Group through the extensive intra-Syrian dialogue without preconditions and for the benefit of all Syrians aimed to determine the outlines of the newly united, sovereign, territorially intact Syrian state, which will ensure the rights of all ethno-confessional groups of people," Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Friday.
