MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Two militants have been killed in an anti-terrorism operation in Dagestan; federal forces have suffered casualties, the press center of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) said.
"The militants were detected in a forest on the outskirts of the Samur village; they fired automatic weapons when they saw special forces approaching. Two militants were killed in the shootout," the press center said in a report seen by Interfax on Monday.
Law enforcers had casualties: "two servicemen of the Federal National Guard Service suffered injuries; one died," the report said.
