MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - A full ceasefire in Donbas is only possible after the separation of the parties in conflict to considerable distances, Denis Pushilin, envoy of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, said.
"There are very many possible scenarios of the events. One needs to focus on what tempts people to shoot: the closeness, several hundreds of meters in some parts. We are working hard to discuss the separation of the parties. We are hoping that the efforts taken by the OSCE SMM and the JCCC will help fully cease fire in the future," Pushilin told reporters in Moscow.
"The situation necessitates political decisions," he said.
"There is a need to establish an interconnection between political decisions and security issues," he said.
