LUHANSK. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian military continue using the ceasefire in Donbas to increase the military potential of their units, Andrei Marochko, a representative of the militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), said.
"Our reconnaissance has determined that the Ukrainian troops have put in the area of the school of the populated area of Valuyske, located eight kilometers from the engagement line, the firing positions of two squadrons of BM-21 Grad MLRS composed of 12 units from the reactive division of the 28th brigade," Marochko told reporters on Monday.
The situation on the contact line remains "controlled and has a tendency towards stabilization," he said.
"In the area of the settlement of Krakovka, which is located five kilometers from the engagement line, 12 tanks from the tank battalion of the 93rd brigade were found," he said.
Marochko said the Ukrainian military are conducting reactive aviation flights in the area of the military operation in Donbas and did not rule out "possible preparations for air strikes on the territory of the republic, as it happened on June 2, 2014, when a Sukhoi Su-25 destroyer bombed a park and the building of the Luhansk administration, hurting 38 civilians."
