U.S.-controlled groups do not guarantee security of humanitarian aid delivery routes to Aleppo - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The U.S.-controlled groups in Syria did not confirm the security guarantees of the humanitarian aid delivery routes to the city of Aleppo, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said.

"The Syrian Arab Republic's leadership has officially confirmed the relevant guarantees. However, as of now, there are no similar guarantees from representatives of the U.S.-controlled groups of militants of the so-called 'moderate opposition' acting in the area of Aleppo," Antonov told journalists on Monday.
