MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry is expecting the Untied States to do whatever is necessary to guarantee safe delivery routes for the humanitarian aid for the residents of the Syrian city of Aleppo, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said.
"We hope the U.S. will act as quickly as possible to resolve this important issue to ensure swift delivery of UN humanitarian aid to all residents of Aleppo," he told reporters on Monday.
"The guaranteeing of safe routes for delivering the aid to Aleppo residents neither can, nor must be preceded by some additional conditions or decided in the framework of bargain in other areas of international cooperation," Antonov said.
