Palestine's leadership hopes to discuss with Medvedev bilateral relations, political issues - ambassador to Russia

MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Palestine is waiting for Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's visit in November for the talks with the country's leader, Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal said.

"This visit was scheduled, Palestine is always glad to Mr. Medvedev. I think that his talks will be dedicated to the two aspects. First and foremost, his meetings with Mr. Abbas and the prime minister are planned. Bilateral relations and various political aspects, particularly Palestinian-Israeli talks, will be discussed," Nofal said in an interview with Interfax.

"The attention will be focused on bilateral relations, because we have the bilateral commission, and the parties will discuss at what stage of development of the relations we are [now]," he also said.
