Putin hopes Russia, U.S. to reach agreement on Syria in next few days (Part 2)

HANGZHOU. Sept 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin assumes that Russia and the United States will reach agreements on the resolution in Syria shortly, hopes for bolstering cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorists.

"I very much hope that if the agreements are reached, and I have some reasons to think that this may take place in a few days, we can say that our joint work with the United States in the fight against terrorist organizations, including on the Syrian track, will be significantly improved and intensified," Putin told journalists, following the G20 summit on Monday.

Besides, he considers it premature now to speak about any parameters of these possible agreements.
