MOSCOW. Sept 16 (Interfax) - A number of populated localities, which joined the ceasefire in Syria, increased to 623, the representatives of another four populated localities signed the agreements in the past 24 hours, Lieut. Gen. Viktor Poznikhir, first deputy chief of the main operative directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff, said.
"The ceasefire agreements were signed with the representatives of another four populated localities in the Latakia province in the past 24 hours. A total amount of the populated localities joining the ceasefire is 623 as of today," he told reporters at a briefing in the Russian National Defense Management Center on Friday.
