MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The footage from a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle recording the movement of the humanitarian convoy to Aleppo, which was shelled on September 19, shows that it was followed by a pickup truck of the terrorists with a mortar, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.
"The video shows how the terrorists deploy the pickup truck mounted with a large-caliber mortar alongside this convoy," he said.
"But it is unclear who covers whom, the mortar the convoy with 'white helmets' volunteers or is it the opposite? And the most important thing, where did the mortar disappear near the convoy's destination point and who was fired at during its stop and unloading?" - Konashenkov said.
