Members of Contact Group on Ukraine did not receive OSCE's invitations to videoconference - source

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - The members of the Contact Group on the Donbas situation settlement did not receive OSCE's invitations to participate in a videoconference on September 30, a source at the negotiations told Interfax on Thursday.

The document on separation of the forces and weapons in three security zones on the contact line in Donbas, which was signed by the Contact Group earlier, suggests resolution of the disputes in working order in the videoconference format, the source said.

"Despite the fact that the document suggests the videoconference format as a working instrument in resolution of the disputes regarding withdrawal of forces and weapons in three pilot security zones, OSCE made no invitations to the videoconference," the source said.

Darka Olifer, spokesperson for Ukraine's representative to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kuchma, said earlier that the videoconference will not take place on September 30 due to the alleged refusal of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic representative to participate in it.
