Security subgroup of Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine starts talks in Minsk

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - The security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group for settling the situation in Donbas started negotiations in Minsk on Wednesday, the Donetsk news agency said referencing the press service of Denis Pushilin, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people's republic (DPR) delegation to the talks.

"The security subgroup has started negotiations in Minsk," it said.

The Donetsk news agency had reported earlier that the DPR public commission on documenting war crimes was planning to pass documentary evidence proving that Ukrainian government forces shelled Makiyivka to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Vladyslav Deineho, the self-proclaimed Luhansk people's republic (LPR) delegate to the Minsk talks, said the humanitarian subgroup's meeting was delayed because of Kyiv.

"The humanitarian subgroup will start [its meeting] later, as the Ukrainian representatives have still not arrived," LuhanskInformCenter quoted Deineho as saying.
