MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax-AVN) - The joint military commission for review of implementation of the 2002 agreement between the Russian and South Korean governments on prevent dangerous military activity has met in Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"During the session, the sides noted the high level of interaction between the Armed Forces of the two states. It is confirmed by the absence of incidents between their combat ships and aircraft," the Russian ministry said in a report, seen by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
At their meeting, the sides also "reaffirmed their readiness to continue their work aimed at updating mechanisms to maintain the security of combat maritime traffic and combat aircraft flights," it said.
"The session of the joint military commission was held in a constructive and business-like atmosphere," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
