Kyiv reports 10 shell attacks by militiamen

KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Ukrainian army positions in Donbas had been shelled ten times by 6 p.m. (local time) on Wednesday, with most of the attacks taking place in the Mariupol area, the press center for the military operation headquarters said on Facebook.

According to Kyiv, the attacks began this morning. Vodyane was attacked with 152mm artillery and tanks; Chermalyk and Shyrokyne with 120mm mortars, and Krasnohorivka with 82mm mortars. Grenades and infantry fighting vehicles were used in attacks on Slavne and Shyrokyne.

In the Donetsk area, Avdiivka was shelled with infantry fighting vehicle weapons, grenades, large-caliber machineguns and small arms. The Luhansk area was quiet on Wednesday, the press center said.
