MOSCOW. Dec 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) will receive the Sarmat most advanced heavy liquid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in three or four years, RVSN Commander Col. Gen. Sergei Karakayev said.
"The approximate guideline for this armament [the system] to be put into service is the years of 2019 and 2020," he told reporters on Thursday ahead of the Day of the Strategic Missile Forces, to be marked on December 17.
