MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has been shown the latest developments in military technology while touring an exhibition at the National Defense Management Center.
One of the chief exhibits was an armored special-purpose parachutable vehicle.
The vehicle is designed for use in fighting by air assault units in any combat situation, the head of state was told.
The president was also shown the Uran-6 multipurpose demining robot that was used in demining areas and infrastructure in Chechnya, Ingushetia and Syria, as well as a self-propelled artillery weapon atop the chassis of a secured off-road vehicle.
The exhibition also had on display various types of small arms for use by special forces.
