SOCHI. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The location of the flight recorders from the Tu-154 plane that crashed in the Sochi area has been determined, they should not be damaged, Russian Aerospace Forces Commander-in-Chief Viktor Bondarev said.
"Flight recorders will definitely be raised when the plane is found on the sea floor, we know where they are, there are in the fin, I am confident that the fin suffered the least damage because the touch [affected the plane's] lower part the fuselage," Bondarev told reporters in Sochi.
Responding to a question as to whether the location of the flight recorders has been determined, Bondarev said: "Of course."
Bondarev said that "the plane was technically fault-free and has recently undergone technical maintenance."
"The conditions of this flight, the readiness of the crew fully met all requirements," Bondarev said.
