Abbas ready to meet with Netanyahu in Moscow at any time, Netanyahu waits for right moment - Russian deputy FM

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The State of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas is ready for a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Moscow at any moment, while Netanyahu is choosing the right time, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov told Interfax.

"Mahmoud Abbas has confirmed his stance; he is ready to arrive in Moscow upon invitation of [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin without preconditions even today, even yesterday, even tomorrow. This is his stance and it is in line with what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he is ready to meet Mahmoud Abbas face-to-face without preconditions and discuss all issues, that he is a man of peace. We proceed from that. Last time Netanyuahu said that he confirms his approach, but he needs to check regarding the specific moment when to do that," Bogdanov said.
