ST. PETERSBURG. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) discussed the exacerbation of the situation on the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a working meeting in St. Petersburg on Monday.
"The degradation of the situation in Afghanistan, deterioration of the situation on the Tajik-Afghan border and those measures, which the countries should undertake in order to assist Tajikistan in stabilization of the border situation were discussed in every detail," CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha told journalists following the working meeting.
