MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - A marine heavy-lift self-propelled crane arrived in the search operation area at the crash site of a Tupolev Tu-154 airliner, 45 vessels and ships, nearly 200 divers are being involved in the operation, the Russian Defense Ministry told Interfax.
"The Chernomorets-11 marine self-propelled crane with a lifting capacity of up to 100 tonnes and with a loading platform arrived in the search operation area to lift large parts of the airliner from the seabed," the Russian Defense Ministry information and mass communications department said.
As many as 192 divers, 45 vessels and ships, 15 deep-sea submersibles, 12 aircraft and five helicopters are being involved in the search operation in the Tu-154 crash area, the ministry said.
Two manned deep-sea submersibles of the Russian Geographic Society and unmanned aerial vehicles' extra force joined the search operation on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
