MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - A separate aviation cluster where air defense, Aerospace Forces and Space Troops equipment will be demonstrated will be created at the international military-technical forum ARMY-2017, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"In the course of these years, we have created the largest congress and exhibition center and the Patriot park, which is unique in its content. Next year, we will hold the latest big exhibit - ARMY-2017. Another component, called the aviation component, will be added there," Shoigu said a meeting of the Defense Ministry's Public Council on Wednesday.
"To make that happen, we are now implementing a new project in Kubinka. Not only the equipment that we displayed previously in the congress and exhibition center and on the Alabino firing range, but the entire component associated with our Aerospace Troops, which comprise the Space Troops, the Air Force and air defense, will be displayed there during the forum," the minister said.
