MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - Forces of the Centrospas rescue center and the Leader center will leave the area of the search operation at the site where the Tupolev Tu-154 airplane crashed near Sochi on December 25 on Friday, the head of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's National Crisis Management Center, Viktor Yatsutsenko, said.
"The forces and equipment of the Centrospas units and the Leader center, as well as the operative group of Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry are expected to withdraw to their permanent base at noon today. The main phase of the joint search operation has been completed," he said during a teleconference.
The families of the Tu-154 crash victims will receive comprehensive assistance and psychological support, he said. Measures are being taken to identify the bodies.
