MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov discussed preparations for intra-Syrian negotiations with leader of the Syrian opposition Movement for a Pluralistic Society Randa Kassis.
"The conversation included an exchange of opinions on the situation taking shape in Syria, with an emphasis placed on issues pertaining to a settlement of the crisis in Syria in the context of preparations for a meeting in Astana and the arrangement of inclusive intra-Syrian negotiations in Geneva in keeping with UN Security Council Resolution 2254," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement available on its official website on Wednesday.
