MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Russia and Turkey have recorded 31 violations of the truce agreement in Syria over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry site said on Thursday.
"The Russian part of the representative office of the Russian-Turkish joint commission dealing with breaches of the Single Agreement have recorded six violations over the past 24 hours in the governorates, including four in Latakia, two in Hama," the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria said in a statement.
The Turkish side has recorded 25 breaches over the past 24 hours in the governorates, including 11 in Idlib, eight in Aleppo, four in Damascus and two in Hama, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement posted on its site.
The regime of cessation of hostilities has been put in place in compliance with the single agreement on comprehensive settlement of the Syria crisis starting from midnight of December 30, 2016.
The opposition armed units Feilak al-Sham, Jabhat Ahli al-Sham (Jaysh al-Mujahideen, Thuwar al-Sham), Firka Sultan Murad, Jaysh Idlib, Sukur al-Sham, Feilak Rahman, Jabhat al-Shamiyah, Tajamua Fastakin, Jaysh al-Iza, Jaysh an-Nasr, Al-Firkat al-Ulya as-Sahiliyah (first coastal division), Jaysh al-Islam, Liva Shuhada al-Islam joined it.
The armed units which joined the new truce number over 60,000 people, the Russian Defense Ministry said earlier.
