MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia takes effective measures against terrorists attempting to arrive in the country from zones of military operations, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.
"In overall, the operative actions conducted sufficed to effectively and timely suppress attempts to infiltrate our territory made by terrorists from zones of combat operations," Patrushev said in an interview to be published in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper on Monday.
"More than 900 persons involved in terrorist activities were uncovered this way last year," he said.
