MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov does not see a proposal for Russia to disarm in return for lifting sanctions against it in a recent statement made by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
"I did not see here a proposal to disarm in return for the lifting of sanctions," Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow when commenting on Trump's relevant statement.
"The topic of nuclear weapons, strategic stability, nuclear parity and strategic parity in general is a key one in relations between Russia and U.S.," he said.
