Ukrainian army moving howitzers towards Donbas frontline - LPR

LUHANSK. Jan 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army has been moving weapons to populated localities along the Donbas contact line, self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) spokesman Andrei Marochko said.

"Two 122mm D-30 towed howitzers have been seen near the town of Novoluhanske," Marochko told the press on Wednesday.

He also said that Ukrainian army firing positions featuring five 120mm mortar crews had been observed in Luhanske.

"Five BMP-1 infantry combat vehicles and two ammo trucks have arrived in Lopaskyne," Marochko said.
