DONETSK. Jan 20 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said six militiamen were killed and four injured as a result of shelling by the adversary in the past week.
"Six people were killed from January 14 through January 19. All of them are military," a representative of the DPR ombudsman's office told reporters on Friday.
In addition, the representative revealed that "four people were injured in the territory of the DPR as a result of non-stop artillery shelling by Ukraine from January 13 through January 19". Of these, two were servicemen and two civilians, including one child under the age of 18, the DPR official said.
According to the official, 12 DPR soldiers have been killed and 13 injured so far in January 1-19. Also, four civilian residents of the DPR have been injured this month, the official said.
