ASTANA. Jan 23 (Interfax) - The Russian president's special representative for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev is leading the Russian delegation at intra-Syrian talks in Astana, a source close to the talks told Interfax.
"The Russian delegation at the talks in Astana is led by Lavrentyev, not Vershinin," he said.
Earlier reports said that Sergei Vershinin, director of the Foreign Ministry's Middle East Department, would lead the Russian delegation at the intra-Syrian talks in Astana.
