Fourteen ceasefire breaches recorded in Syria - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Fourteen ceasefire violations have been recorded in Syria over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"The Russian party of the representative office of the Russian-Turkish joint committee dealing with breaches of the Single Agreement has recorded 2 violations in the governorates over the past 24 hours: one in Hama, one in Latakia. The Turkish part of the representative office has recorded 12 breaches in the governorates: six in Aleppo, three in Damascus, two in Homs, one in Daraa," the statement said.

"During the inquiry into these violations three breaches of the regime of cessation of hostilities were confirmed, the Russian side did not confirm other nine violations," it said.
