MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - The overwhelming majority of armed units support the ceasefire in Syria, Russian Armed Forces General Staff's Main Operational Directorate chief Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi said.
"The work on recording the areas controlled by ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra units has almost been completed at the meeting [in Astana]. There are insignificant differences, which will be negotiated promptly," Rudskoi said.
This allows to actually separate the opposition from terrorist groups, he said.
ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra are terrorist groups banned in Russia.
