MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - A Russia-sponsored document regulating relationship between the Syrian authorities and populated areas under control of the armed opposition has been forwarded for coordination to the conflicting parties in the wake of the Astana meeting, Russian Armed Forces General Staff's Main Operational Directorate chief Lieut. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi told journalists.
"The Russia-sponsored statute on a reconciled area (populated area), which determines the procedure of relationship between the official Syrian authorities and populated areas under control of the armed units for the transitional period was also approved," Rudskoi said.
The document was forwarded for coordination to the official Syrian authorities and opposition representatives.
