BANGALORE. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Almaz-Antey has formally offered to India to modernize Osa anti-aircraft missile complexes and Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft systems, Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Almaz-Antey Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Activity, said at the Aero India 2017 show.
"We used to supply Osa and Shilka there [...] Now we are offering an array of modernization projects to the partners. Hopefully, they [our offers] will be accepted," he said.
Indian border guards have shown interest in the Sova radar station, he said.
Almaz-Antey Concern is Russia's leading developer and manufacturer of air defense systems and hardware, offering full life-cycle support, from creation to scraping. Armies of more than 50 countries have procured products of the concern.
