Russian, U.S. military leaders may set example of cooperation to politicians - Russian Federation Council member

MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford may find a lot of common subjects for dialogue during a meeting in Baku, setting a good example to politicians, a Russian Federation Council member said.

"The Russian and U.S. military have a lot of common ground where efforts can be joined, and it relates not only to counterterrorism," Viktor Ozerov, the head of the Federation Council's defense and security committee, told Interfax on Thursday.

"If military people show an example to politicians, I think it will be good," the senator said.
